1. Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of this website, operated by Blue Ring Venture Capital (operating as Blue Ring Venture Capital), Windsor, ON. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. Nothing here is an offer

Nothing on this website is an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security. No information about any company seeking capital is made available on this public site. Blue Ring Venture Capital does not invest; individual members make their own investment decisions directly with companies. See our disclosures.

3. Nothing here is advice

The guides, calculators, assessments and other content on this site are general information written by operators. They are not legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice, and they do not take account of your circumstances. The fit assessment and the partial-sale calculator produce illustrative results from the numbers you enter; they are not valuations, appraisals or indications of interest, and no result creates any obligation on anyone. Get advice from your own professionals before acting.

4. Accuracy and currency

We make a genuine effort to be accurate and we date every page. Programs, thresholds, rates and rules referred to on this site change, sometimes quickly. We do not warrant that anything here is current or complete, and we may change or remove content at any time.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use this site to break the law; to submit information that is false, misleading or that you are not entitled to share; to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems; to scrape at a rate that degrades service for others; to introduce malicious code; or to harass anyone.

Submitting an application does not create any obligation on Blue Ring Venture Capital to review it, respond, introduce your company to members, or invest. Applications are governed by the application terms.

The content of this site, other than third-party material and content you submit, belongs to Blue Ring Venture Capital. You may read, print and share it for your own non-commercial purposes with attribution. You may not republish it commercially or present it as your own.

You keep ownership of anything you submit. You grant us permission to use it for the purposes described in the privacy policy and the application terms.

We link to government programs, lenders, associations and other organizations because they are useful. We do not control them, do not endorse everything they say, and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. The courts of Ontario have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms; the version and date at the top will change. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
