Accessibility
This site targets WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Here is what we have done, what we know is imperfect, how to tell us about a barrier, and how to get any information on this site in another format at no cost.

Our commitment
Blue Ring Venture Capital aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA across this website and our application portal. We treat accessibility as part of building the site, not as a later audit: automated accessibility tests run against the public pages on every change, and we review the application funnel manually.
Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, we will provide information in an accessible format or with communication support on request, at no additional cost, in a timely way, and in consultation with you about what works.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading order, landmarks and a "Skip to content" link on every page.
- Every form control has a visible, associated label; errors are described in text, announced to assistive technology, and never signalled by colour alone.
- Visible focus indicators throughout, and full keyboard operation including the mobile menu, the fit assessment and the calculator.
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1 (3:1 for large text) in both light and dark appearance.
- Touch targets of at least 44 by 44 pixels on mobile.
- Content reflows to a 320-pixel-wide viewport without horizontal scrolling, and remains usable at 200% zoom.
- Motion respects the operating system's "reduce motion" setting.
- No information conveyed by colour alone; no content that depends on hover; nothing that flashes.
- Long-form content is real text, not images of text, and tables have proper headers.
What we know is imperfect
We would rather list these than claim perfection:
- Some data tables in the guides need horizontal scrolling on a narrow phone. The content is reachable, but the experience is not ideal.
- The partial-sale calculator's results update live; we have tested it with a screen reader, but complex numeric interfaces are exactly where testing misses things. Tell us if it is awkward.
- Documents we send by email are HTML and plain text. If you need a different format, ask.
- Third-party embeds, such as a booking calendar, are outside our direct control. We check them and will replace any that create a barrier.
Alternative formats
Any information on this site is available in another format on request — large print, plain text, an accessible document, or read to you over the phone. There is no charge and we will not ask why. Use the contact form.
Telling us about a barrier
If something on this site is difficult or impossible to use, please tell us. Include the page address and what happened; if you can, tell us what browser or assistive technology you were using.

We acknowledge feedback within 48 hours on business days and tell you what we plan to do about it. Accessibility feedback is treated as a priority, not a suggestion.
The application process
If any part of applying is a barrier, we will take your application another way — by phone, by email, or in person. Nobody is disadvantaged for not being able to use a web form, and using an alternative route does not change how your application is assessed.
